- I am so excited to be back to school tomorrow! I would like to say a huge thank you to Ms. Kidd for doing such a wonderful job filling in for Mrs. Ramsay over the last eight months. On that note, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Mrs. Ramsay back to ACC! We are very excited to have you back.

Week of April 7-10
- Hi! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter break. I am looking forward to getting back to school tomorrow to see everyone.
- Spring photo day is Tuesday, April 7th.
- Lunch order day is tomorrow. Don't forget to hand in your money first thing in the morning to Ms. Kidd.
- Please continue reading 20 minutes each night this week. Parents don't forget to be asking your child to tell you what they have been reading about.
- I just gave the students a math fact quiz on Thursday. I need to remind everyone how important it is to be reviewing math facts for 10 minutes each night.
- I have introduced all of our foundational learnings in math. We will constantly be reviewing these until June. They are the following: showing numbers to 10 000 in different ways, adding and subtracting numbers to 10 000, multiplying 2 and 3 digit numbers, dividing numbers, exploring fractions of a whole and set, decimals to hundredths, math facts to 81 (mult. and dividing), and finding area of regular and irregular polygons. We will be continuing with all of our other math outcomes until June as well.
- There will be school on April 17 and the 24. These used to be professional development days, but now are regular school days.
- Have a wonderful week everyone!

Week of January 26-29
- It is hard to believe that we are entering the last week of January!
- There will be no school this Friday, January 30 due to a PD day.
- The students wrote a multiplication quiz on Thursday and I must say they have been steadily improving with their math facts. It is very important to have a quick recall of these facts which is why I assign them for homework on a nightly basis. We are starting to focus on division this week with the understanding of the direct relation between the two (multiplication and division).
- Continue reading 20 minutes each night.
- Book orders should arrive this week.
- I would like to remind everyone to send a note if your child is staying for after school activities.
- A huge thank you to everyone involved in providing our students with the breakfast program. This is a wonderful idea and the students love it.
- Have a wonderful week everyone!
