Week of November 19-23

  • A big welcome back to Ms. Stacey Flood! She will be returning to our class as our student teacher for one month!  We are so excited to be having her back.
  • A reminder that lunch money for the hot meals is due tom. Please try to have the money separated because they go to two different places.
  • Grade 5's will be finishing their math test tom. on patterns and equations.
  • A reminder to be reading 20 minutes each night. Parents, it would be beneficial to pull out the sheet of questions that I gave everyone at parent teacher to ask your son/daughter. You could pick one evening this week and ask one question from each category of questions (literal, inferential, or evaluative). Orally being able to answer comprehension questions is a very important skill. If they think it, they can say it. If they can say it,  then they can write it. :o)
  • I will be sending the book order home tom.
  • Thank you to all of my students for handing in their science projects on Friday! I can tell they worked very hard.
  • Report cards will be going home on Thursday, November 22.
  • Have a great week everyone.
