Week of February 25-March 1

  • I sent home the Heritage Fair package with the students on Friday. All grade 5-8 students are required to participate. It will be held on April 10th.  The students are to have a brief summary handed in by March 12th explaining their topic and if they are doing the project alone or with a partner. I will be giving the students time to research and work on projects in class, but some of it will have to be done at home.
  • Grade 5 math will have an oral quiz on their multiplication and division facts on Wednesday. We will be having our unit test on division on Thursday.
  • Please be reading your 20 min. each night
  • Students are doing a wonderful job creating some unique poetry! We are into our poetry unit full force! Please check out our bulletin board showcasing our color poems.
  • Friday will be PJ day.
  • Parent teacher interview slips will go home by the end of the week. If you have a preferred time, please let me know.
  • Have a great week! It is hard to believe Friday is March 1!
