Week of November 21-25

  • I just wanted to take this opportunity to say "thank you" to all of the parents who came to parent teacher interviews. It was a pleasure meeting all of you. I love working with all of your sons/daughters each and every day!
  • Grade 2-  Please continue with your nightly reading and be sure to have your child answer some of the questions at the front of their reading duotang.
  • Grade 3 -  Keep up the great work on those math facts each night.  We are continuing to work on 3 digit addition (with and without regrouping) this week.  We have also been working on understanding the difference between the terms sum (addition) and difference (subtraction).  Students have been creating word problems from given criteria.  We will start our 3 digit subtraction soon!
  • Grade 4-  We will continue to work on comparing and ordering fractions this week. There will be a quiz on fractions on Friday.  Our next area of focus will be working with decimals and how they relate to fractions.  Keep working on the math facts at night.
  • Have a great week everyone!
