Week of March 6-9

  • I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!  Third term here we come!
  • No school on Monday, March 5 due to a PD day.
  • I wanted to say how much I enjoyed meeting with all of you at interviews.  It was wonderful to discuss the progress that your children are making.
  • We have a busy week this week in gr. 3/4!  I will be asking the students to take home their "Secret Shortcut" stories to read out loud on Tuesday evening.  When they do this, they pick up on missing words, errors, etc.  Also, it is a great opportunity for you to hear their great stories. :o)  The good copies of these stories will be due on Friday, March 9.  They will have some time in class, but some may have to be finished up at home.
  • In Social Studies, the students have been working on a brochure on a continent with Ms. Paynter.  They have had 2 computer sessions to research and will have some time to work on it in class.  This project will be due on Thursday.
