Week of October 3-7

  • Welcome to the first full week of October!
  • Gr. 2's-  Continue reading each evening and parents don't forget to ask your child a few of the questions in the folder.  It is very important for your child to understand what they have read.  Continue to review the spelling words nightly and the book order will be due on Friday.
  • Gr.3 math-  We had a quiz on  representing numbers to 1000 and comparing numbers on Friday.  This will be going home to sign on Tuesday (hopefully).  We will be working with addition and subtraction of numbers to 1000 throughout the month of October.  Please keep reviewing the addition and subtraction facts from the back of the agenda on a nightly basis.  This is their math homework.
  • Gr. 4 math- We had a quiz on Friday on representing and comparing/ordering numbers to 10 000.  This quiz will be going home this week to be signed and returned.  Throughout the month of October we will be working on adding/subtracting of numbers up to 10 000.  This includes problem solving and estimating as well. Please make sure  that your child is practicing their math facts on a nightly basis.
  • I hope everyone has a great week and a wonderful Thanksgiving!
